Mapping Systems: Adolescent Depression

We were tasked with mapping a wicked problem assigned to our group within the scale of Pennsylvania, connecting nationally, and researching, organizing, and connecting that information through a visual format. This involved researching adolescent depression statistics and connections using social, technological, environmental, economic, political, biological, and value-based reasoning. We used that data to compile a mess map of connections and then moved forward with assessing leverage points and curating interventions to move toward solutions.

Throughout the poster are systems of organization that lend to data presented, color coded circles to represent various stakeholders, varying lines to represent forms of connections and feedback loops, and individual red symbols that help to identify thematically relevant points on the map that relate to our intervention points,
